2008 MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown to Premiere on SPEED Channel’s “Two Guys Garage”; Sunday, September 28 at

Ann Arbor, Michigan, September 25, 2008 – The 2008 MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown, recently held at the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, N.C., will be featured in an upcoming episode of “Two Guys Garage,” on SPEED, a cable station dedicated to motorsports. The episode covers the Showdown in the final stages of the competition, and will premiere on Sunday, September 28, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. (EST).

Pro Motor Engines Score Stunning 15:59 Minutes Engine Build!
MOORESVILLE, NC – June 2, 2008 –Dennis Borem and Darrell Hoffman of Pro Motor Engines wasted no time as they racked up a stunning 15 minutes and 59 seconds build to win the 2008 MAHLE Engine Builder Showdown on May 20. They came away with the Randy Dorton Memorial Trophy and a cash prize of $26,000, as well as bragging rights for another year – they are winners two years in a row now having taken last year’s top prize with a 16:25 build.

Ann Arbor, Michigan, February 18, 2008 - MAHLE Clevite Inc. announces the appointment of Ken Carter to the position of National Sales Manager. Ken Carter has served in a variety of leadership sales roles throughout his MAHLE Clevite career. His most recent responsibilities included being the Manager of the Heavy Duty and Special Market sales teams, plus all of the MAHLE Clevite Canadian operations. Ken assumes the additional duties of the USA Light Vehicle sales immediately. He will continue to report to General Manager, Michael Tate.

MAHLE Clevite Celebrates 1st NASCAR Win
With New Decal At 2008 Daytona 500
When Ryan Newman took the checkered flag at the 2008 Daytona 500, it was also a milestone event for MAHLE Clevite Inc. It marked the first time the company’s new MAHLE white decal entered Victory Lane in NASCAR competition. The company announced earlier this year that the MAHLE decal would take the place of the legendary Clevite blue decal throughout all NASCAR competitions.

Ann Arbor, Michigan, February 4, 2008 - MAHLE Clevite Inc. has announced that beginning with the 2008 Daytona 500 in February, the company will begin the transition to the MAHLE white decal on the front fender of NASCAR vehicles. Emblazoned with big blue letters, the MAHLE white decal will take the place of the legendary Clevite blue decal and marks a new MAHLE identity throughout NASCAR.

MAHLE Clevite Inc. a leading supplier of Victor Reinz® automotive engine gaskets for the aftermarket, has developed new multi-layer steel (MLS) head gaskets featuring advanced Wave-Stopper™ technology for Ford Modular engines. The MLS head gaskets have – surrounding the combustion chamber – four individual concentric waves, stamped from spring steel. They provide a constant, tight, flexible combustion seal that compensates for the range of motion caused by cylinder head lift-off and thermal expansion and contraction occurring during engine operation.
